Documents stuck in 'waiting to upload' state after moving folders on Mac

I cannot seem to get my documents to complete uploading to the folders that I moved them to. I simply clicked and dragged them into their new folders, and they look like they are in there when I click on them, but beneath the folders it says "waiting to upload." I even tried emailing the main folder with the subfolders in it, to myself to see if everything was indeed in there, but the main folder when emailed showed up empty. I have rebooted my computer to see if that solved the issue, but it did not. I'm at a loss as to what to do.
