I set up in screen for lock/ unlock option to be active but not working any one had that issue

Original Title: my iPad 11 pro cover didn’t wake up or close it despite being set up to do in lock/unlock option in it’s settings how do I fix it

Presumably you refer to the feature that is able to lock the iPad screen when a cover is closed.
If you have a generic third-party case, these sometimes have the magnet (sensed by the iPad when the cover is closed) in the wrong location relative to the screen; some cases don’t have a magnet at all - or may be poorly positioned and unreliable.
As the sensor location varies between models of iPad, to use the screen locking feature, the case must be specifically designed for the iPad. You may need to swap the case or cover for reliable operation.
