No screensaver activates after macOS 15.6 update on Mac mini

Hi all,

After updating to macOS 15.6 on my Mac mini, I noticed the screensaver no longer activates after the set idle time. I’ve tried adjusting the settings (even down to 1 minute), but the screensaver never starts.

When I leave the Mac idle overnight, the monitor powers off as expected (based on display settings), but in the morning, tapping the keyboard doesn’t wake the screen. Once I manually wake it, I’m taken directly to the desktop—there’s no screensaver, and no password prompt, despite having lock screen settings enabled.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions or known fixes?
