Why am I unable to go to the disk options on my Mac

for some reason I'm unable to boot into the disk options like I try to hold down the options key and boom nothing and it got me to the point thinking "hmmm I think I did something in the recovery mode" and yes before erasing the disk the restore option chouldnt let me so I clicked the - button and the whole recovery part of my Mac is now gone so I kinda need help right now
