Despite turning email forwarding off, my emails keep getting forwarded

Hey all, hoping someone may be able to help...

So about four years ago I turned on forwarding of all my iCloud mail to another address.

About six months ago I turned it off but it keeps forwarding.

I've done everything that's suggested on any forum - disabled it in iCloud via a browser, made sure it's off in mail on my iPhone and MacBook...

I know my way around apple land a fair bit (no expert), but i've just looked everywhere and done everything but it still keeps forwarding.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
