BUG - prior imported song from another album is deleted after song purchase

I ripped a compilation of songs from a CD titled Fantastic Voyage to my Mac awhile back. One of the songs (Exposure - Robert Fripp) on the CD and comes up as iCloud matched.

I later purchase the album Exposure by Robert Fripp, which contains the song Exposure. After purchasing upon import, Apple Music on my Mac proceeds to rename the file from my ripped compilation Fantastic Voyage to match the newly purchased album. It becomes impossible to add the song back to the compilation album and have the newly purchased song appear properly in the new album.

My only solution is to delete all version of Exposure, reimport from the iTunes Store, and then re-rip the CD in question.
