Logic Pro sound library not being able to download on external drive

Hi, I've recently purchased Logic Pro and I am having issues downloading the sound library onto my external drive. I relocated the sound library to my external drive and it even says in the status, "sound library exists here". I have 950gb available on my external drive yet when I try to download the full sound library (around 80gb) it says I don't have enough space. I do only have 10gb free space on my MacBook's HD which could be part of the problem as the sound library attempted to download on to there.

Help would be appreciated
