Fixing App Store payment glitch on MacBook Air

This isn't really a question, more of an answer to anybody who has a question similar to mine.

Recently I wanted to download an app which I had paid for previously on my MacBook, but when I searched it on the App Store instead of the download button, it showed the payment button, what I did to fix it is just I pressed the button and "paid" for it with Touch ID, but instead of taking my money it gave me a message saying I had already bought that item and it started downloading, hope this helps.
