How can I assign all contacts to new eSIM at once on iPhone 15?

I just switched from a physical eSIM to two eSIMs.

All my contacts have been assigned the "last used" option.

The last line used was the physical SIM.

Since I no longer have one, I can't make calls.

I have to edit each contact one by one before calling by assigning them one of the two eSIMs.

Can someone help me find a solution to switch all contacts at once?

In the eSIM settings, I did have one esim selected by default, but that didn't change anything.

Thank you for your help.

Contacts have nothing to do with nanoSIMs or eSIMs. When you make a call it will use the line that is the default, unless you have made other calls with that contact; in that case it will use the last line used with that contact.

If this is the case it is a big issue for me because I was previously using a real Sim during years & all my contacts was using the real Sim now that I jump to 2 carrier with eSIM I don’t have a SIM sin my phone.

so for all my contact the system can’t call and I need to select manually one of my eSIM to be able to call once each of my contacts….

will be very useful to get a option or tool who can switch this option by group or in totality…

I think I expressed myself badly that you misunderstood me. Indeed since I no longer have a SIM and I changed to eSIM. My iPhone keeps in memory for each contact the last line used ! For most of my contacts was the line of my SIM. Now that I only have eSIMs, I have to go and change the default eSIM for each contact on the top left of them. I attach a photo to show you that I cannot call.

check on the top left of the photo. Just under the initial you can see in French Dernier utilise Indisponible: Last ligne used not avalable
