Missing options for two-factor authentication on Android Apple TV+ app

Problem:

Validation page for two-factor authentication logins on android apple tv+ app does not show options "Did you not receive a code?" and "Can you not access your devices?". This prevents login with validation code sent over sms to trusted device.

To reproduce the problem:

install the apple tv+ app from google play on an android device (tested device running android 10)

open the app

login using an apple account that require two-factor authentication

the page where the app asks to enter the validation code is lacking the two options "Did you not receive a code?" and "Can you not access your devices?"

On the same device, using a browser to login to tv.apple.com instead of the app, the two options are shown on the validation code page

Unless someone else chimes in with a different idea, I would suggest to contact an expert from the Apple Support staff for further assistance. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/email/callback).

Thank you for your prompt reply and suggestion. I will see if it is possible to submit above ticket through support.

A workaround (for android) seem to be to use the Amazon prime app and start a Apple TV+ subscription from within that app. A caveat is that it seems not possible to link such subscription to an apple account.
