Reminders app fortnightly specific days. How?

I had previously setup, and it was working fine for years, a reminder per fortnight on Sunday Monday Tuesday.

Then I had to edit the content. So I set the repeat as custom, every 2 weeks, on those same days.

Now the app is repeating the reminder weekly on those days.

Tried but can’t fix. Please explain in step by step dumbed down detail what to do. And what I’m doing wrong would be nice to know too. Apologies if this has been answered but I couldn’t find it in the search.

Not sure the device (Mac, iPhone...) you are using, but, when viewing the reinimder, tap the ⓘ icon (to the right). choose Repeat, Choose Custom and choose to repeat the reminder every 2 weeks.

Here is an example on an iPhone where the reminder is scheduled every other Wednesday :

I'm using an iPhone.

I don’t think this will help though as I initially set the frequency as you described.

I'll explain further.

The frequency is this: custom > every 2 weeks > Sunday/Monday/Tuesday.

So I want the reminder notification to be fortnightly on Sunday Monday Tuesday of that fortnight. I selected a Sunday as the start date.

However, the reminder notification is alerting weekly on Sunday Monday Tuesday. Every Sunday Monday Tuesday. It’s not alternating between each week.

Does that make more sense?

Do you know why this isn’t working and how to fix it please?
