Search Bar in the Mac Reminders App does not work

It works on iPhone and iPad. But, it does not work both of my M1 iMac and MacBook Pro.

Spotlight search for the Reminders content is not work either. I have unchecked Events and Reminders in the Spotlight search settings, rebooted the Macs and then checked them back to rebuild the indexes. But, it still does not work.

It turns out that I needed to rebuild the index for the Reminders app.

I turned off the iCloud sync for the Reminders app for 10-15 minutes (I don't know what the necessary duration is. It might be shorter.) on both Macs, and then turned the iCloud sync back on.

With that, the search bar in the Reminders app is working fine on both Macs.

Thank you for the response. Mac OS 15.6, the latest version. Reminders are synched through iCloud. They sync just fine across all my iOS and MacOS devices.

The problem is that the search bar in the Reminders App in both of my M1 Macs does not yield any result as you see in the screen shot. The same search on my iPhone/iPad shows 5 Reminders across multiple lists including a completed Reminder!

If the "case" referred to in other posts on this thread is in reference to word capitalization, it didn't matter for my searches.

"Case" refers to upper or lower case letters. Upper case letters are also called "capitals." It's also used in such terms as "sentence case" which refers to the first word being capitalized and subsequent words being lower case (unless they are proper nouns or the first person singular pronoun in English). Title case is where each word (of more than three letters) is capitalized.

Modern word processing applications usually have the option to toggle between various cases.
