itunes barely plays through 2-3 songs from playlist then stops as screen goes to sleep

On my Windows PC, I sign in to itunes and pick playlist to play. It plays only 2 or 3 songs and music stops as the screen goes to sleep if I am only playing I tunes... and not working on the pc. This happens regardless the music playlist is my own or on Itunes site
