Best way to record a walk and run interval workout in apple watch Fitness app so it calculates vo2 max.

I do walk and run intervals during my workouts.

Is it better to use the outdoor run or outdoor walk workout in the apple watch Fitness app while doing this?

Does it affect your Vo2 Max? Which one is best for Vo2 max calculation?
