Missing user profile in photos after iPad restoration on iOS 18.6

Updated to new i0S 18.6 recently. My iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) suddenly crashed and required a restore. I restored the iPad, downloaded my info from iCloud. Everything downloaded successfully. Updated to iOS 18.6 successfully but my user profile in photos is missing. Profile info is correct everywhere else on the iPad. What do I need to do to fix this?

When you look over at your photos. Your account info should come up in the upper right corner attached to your photos but mine didn’t. This happened when my iPad had a sudden crash and I was forced to restore.

To resolve the issue I reset the iPad to a new iPad, (did not download from back up) and signed into my account.

After taking this action my account info showed up once again in the upper right corner by my photos. But of course I lost all my apps, email settings, had to change my password and passcode, but everything on my iPad is back in sync. I’m sure there was an easier way, but this was more of an issue of having a peace of mind.

You mean this?

The only "account info" is a name and a picture. It can only be there when you're signed in-- and so you did that!

Yes, I signed into to the account after the restore, and even though the iPad looked and responded normally, the account info did not show up in the upper right section of the photos. It was blank. When I reset the iPad as a new iPad and signed into my account, the account info finally showed up, as it should, in the upper right corner of the photos

Can you tell us what you mean by "my user profile in Photos?" I don't know what that is. Where is this, and what's there, instead?
