How to stop old bookmarks from reappearing in Safari on MacBook Pro?

Working on a macbook pro from 2023 on Safari. This happens on news sites and on amazon-- all sites I frequently go to and have many bookmarks on, but there are 3 in particular, all quite old (2 news stories and 1 amazon search, all from 11 years ago, none pages I visited more than once) that hijack the url every time I start going to these sites. I almost never read news anywhere but on my mac, and I have searched out these bookmarks and deleted them multiple times (when I find them--sometimes they are not in the bookmark folders and I have to go through ALL the cookies etc before I can get rid of them. It's aggravating and time consuming. How do I permanently make it stop, and why doesn't Apple fix this?
