iPhone 16 Pro CarPlay keeps switching to mono in Honda Civic

iPhone 16 pro just updated my phone yesterday.

i drive a 24 civic.

since i bought the car in May, Car play has constantly been switching to mono!

here’s what I’ve done to no avail:

• new cable
• voice shortcuts off
• turned off siri
• reset my infotainment
• restart phone
• got a new wire harness in my car
• tried wireless adapter
• many other setting changes that I can’t even remember

what is going on???

this is so frustrating and what’s worse is that Honda couldn’t replicate the issue with their technicians! They just replaced the wire harness to make me happy!

why is this happening???
