iPhone 12 4g/5g Data disconnection using CarPlay with wireless connection

This only occurs using CarPlay. Data disconnection occurs after approximately 5 to 10 minutes in areas with a strong data signal. A Full factory reset of the Car unit, followed by a full factory reset of the iPhone, has not resolved this problem. A recent wireless CarPlay test connection using an old iPhone 7 worked fine with no data disconnection. This appears to indicate a problem with the iPhone 12. Wondering whether this could be an app-related problem?

manwa9 ~ What version of iOS is your iPhone 12 running?...

Settings > General > About > iOS Version

As your iPhone 12 could be almost 5 years old, it's worth checking for a weak, aging battery which can cause connectivity issues. So...

Does your iPhone 12 still have its original battery?

And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

For an iPhone 12, that implies the battery has been replaced. Was it done at an Apple Store or by other qualified technician using a genuine iPhone battery?...
