How to import DJI Osmo 360 files into Final Cut Pro?

DJI has announced the OSMO 360 camera. I am a fan of their drones but they have no software for the Osmo 360. I have an older Insta 360 camera and like their software. Their files can be opened in FCP and while FCP is OK for editing 360 it's not great....but does anyone know if the Osmo 360 files can be opened and worked on by FCP? The video file type is OSV,MP4 according to their support people.

FCP will not import OSV files directly. You can download DJI Studio directly from dji.com. It's available for Mac or PC. Open the OSV files in DJI Studio, manipulate them how you wish and then export them as an .MP4 file, which can be imported directly in to FCP. That is how I am currently doing it, cheers!
