Is it normal for MacBook screens to glitch when in contact with phones?

i was using my macbook in school and i out my phone against the open screen and the macbook's screen started glitching (grey lines going horizontally). i was wondering if its normal or should i replace my screen.

No. This is not normal.


Get these Diagnosed by Apple:

There would be no cost to it. Thing is, I do not think they would look at it if you do not set up a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store. So, set one up, seeing where things can go from here.
