Apple email domain vs Zoho hosting for custom emails

I have my website domain hosted with Host Armada and my custom emails for that website hosted with Zoho.

Does signing up for an Apple email domain mess with my Zoho hosting? I didn't realize Apple had this feature until recently. I think I will cancel Zoho hosting services and move them to Apple. Do you think this makes sense?

I have iCloud+ with two terabytes with Apple's monthly description.

I'm confused about how Apple's custom email domain works. I guess it's just like any other email hosting service.

Some clarity would help.

Thanks,

If it is a business-related website I'd think twice about that. Custom email domain setup issues are a frequent-enough subject on the forums (along with complaints about Apple Support not being able to really help). Email domain hosting - well, domain hosting at all - isn't really a key Apple service.

Conversely, business tools are Zoho's core business and their tools clearly show it (including auto-generation of the DNS TXT records you need for SPF, DKIM and DMARC). Unless this is a personal website and personal/family email domain...I wouldn't switch personally.
