Cannot download messages from icloud
I have tried everything suggested please someone help me download the messages from icloud
iPhone SE, iOS 18

Enable iCloud messages on the device. Set up iCloud for Messages on all your devices - Apple Support
Provided that you were syncing, your messages will sync to the device.
I have enabled everything I need to - synced everything - restored phone and the messages are still there in iCloud
