Re: Detect Separate Images, can this be done with pale items on a dark background.

I have read the Community discussions on this topic, most of which are over 10 years old, but nobody has tried to solve this problem.

When I choose 'Detect Separate Images' only those on darker paper are identified, per this screen shot.

Note that the lower cut-out is not selected, presumably as the paper too similar to the background. But it is not so similar that the stamp is selected instead.

I tried to put all the cut-outs on a black background, thinking that this would make them easy to detect, but instead the whole A4 black page was detected instead.

Is there a way of adjusting the settings so that selection of pale items on a dark background is achieved?

I'm using an SX235W using MacOS 15.

Thanks for your input.
