Can I make an exemption for an app from parental controls on my son's iPhone?

We use Apple's parental controls to oversee our children's use of their iPhones. And because of the controls placed on their phones, certain apps are already blocked by Apple. There is an app we have and want our son to have that is blocked from his because it is under the parental controls. Is there a way we can make an exemption that will allow our son to have this one app?
