Comparing iMac and Studio display for remote work and MacBook Air productivity

I am not sure which would be more beneficial to purchase. I am currently a remote worker and getting my mba. I have a work laptop that is hp but my personal laptop is a a MacBook Pro and I prefer Apple product. I want to upscale my office and productivity I mostly use Microsoft office like Teams and excel. I want to be cost affective.

If you want to stay with Apple products and want economy consider getting a Mac Mini M4 with a top notch 4K monitor from Amazon. A 10 Core Mac Mini M4 with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD ($999 + tax) with a 27" LG 4k monitor ($250 + tax from Amazon.com)  is $1249 + tax which is $560 less than a similarly configured new 24" iMac ($1799 + tax)  re 07/2025.

You can get a Mini M4 Apple M4 Pro chip with 12‑core CPU, 16‑core GPU, 16‑core Neural Engine with 24 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD for $1600. Combine that with a 32" 4K LG monitor for $250 and you'll have an outstanding machine at far less than an iMac or Mac Studio.

I got the Mini M4 with the LG monitor and it's a blazing fast machine.

You can get Microsoft 365 for Macs and be able to handle the MS files. Or you can use an alternative free app, LibreOffice which and open, edit and save MS Office files in MS Office formats or its own format.

Just some food for thought.
