Missing Apple Music Library After Renewing Subscription

Missing Apple Music Library After Renewing Subscription

Dear Apple Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I have been a loyal Apple Music user for a long time and have always appreciated the seamless experience your service provides. Earlier today, I renewed my Apple Music subscription after a short break. However, upon logging into the app, I noticed that my entire music library — including playlists, liked songs, albums, and previously saved content — is completely missing.

I am signed in with the same Apple ID I have always used, and my subscription is currently active. Despite that, none of my previously saved data is appearing in the app. I have tried signing out and back in, and even restarted my device, but the issue persists.

My Apple Music library is extremely important to me, as it contains years of curated playlists and personal music preferences. I would sincerely appreciate your assistance in recovering my music library and ensuring everything is restored correctly.

Please let me know if any further information is needed from my side to help resolve this issue.

Thank you in advance for your time and support.

Apple does not save a users data after they have left a service. While most would consider that a huge security/privacy benefit compared to some companies that save every detail about a user, I understand how you would not see it that way now. Apple never saves any more data than necessary and the best way to protect a user is to remove the data when it is no longer needed.

This is a user-to-user forum. You are not speaking to Apple here.

My understanding is that if you let an Apple Music subscription lapse, any offline listening copies of "subscription" songs, iCloud Library copies of songs, and playlists containing "subscription" songs will stop working or be deleted. This can happen right away, and re-subscribing to Apple Music does not get that stuff back.

What iOS are you using as updated to the iOS 26 beta version and I lost all my music and specifically my playlists that I use for my health.

If infact you have updated to iOS 26 beta version then you need to do a complete factory reset to iOS 18.5 version. I had to do this before I could sync my music which has worked but I cannot pair my iwatch 10 now unless I update to iOS 26 beta version
