Pop up "Allow Random" messages on iPad

This has just started in the last week & only appears on my iPad, not on iPhone. Running iOS18.5. Have changed my Apple ID password, but problem prevails. As noted on another post, it says "Allow Random 79:0B:8C:01:4C:26 to Receive Your iPad Notifications When connected, all notifications you receive on your iPad will also be sent to Random 79: etc.... and may be shown in it's display" Have clicked "Don't Allow" but this message continues to appear several times a day.

Followed a previous posts advice (click don't allow & then restart iPad) has no effect.

Just a plain "nuisance" but concerning as to whether there's some sort of nefarious software been put on my iPad????

HELP... anyone????
