CarPlay microphone and navigation issues with Toyota and Lexus in tunnels

Since Jan25 CarPlay with wired phones doesn’t always support Toyota and Lexus microphones during hands free phone calls. Fix is to interpose a wifi transmitter eg Quadlock between car usb and phone.

Carplay navigation doesn’t connect to Bluetooth beacons in tunnels. Navigation guesses where you are in the tunnel until it gives up and provides instructions for surface roads.

I’m a recent iPhone user and have sympathy for others who are unaware how far behind Android phones these are. Hopefully the team are working on the deficient functionality.
