Calendar events missing after iPhone restore

I asked support to help me restore my iPhone calendar, but they told me to restore my iPhone, now it’s worse. Can someone please help me get my old events back on my calendar?

Well what were you syncing your calendar to mail account or icloud.

If icloud follow steps here Restore your calendars and events on iCloud.com - Apple Support

if mail account sign back into the account and re-enable calendar, if that doesn't help reach out to your email support.

It's not the phone, likely the iOS 18.6 is the problem. Hopefully you have a mac desktop and your calendar will have all you are searching for. That is what I discovered when all my appointments before May 2025 disappeared from my iPhone (I have a separate post "iPhone calendar missing my appointments before May").

The restore effort was misguided, however that likely not an issue, but not a fix either. Using your desktop (or laptop) you can look up your previous appointments in calendar, reschedule and it will synch with your phone. That is my experience. Possibly logging into your iCloud account will accomplish the same thing, I did not try.

Yes this is the spot I was talking about, there is where you would see calendar/contacts/mail etc.
