Apple Watch stuck on charger logo with red lightning bolt after prolonged discharge

I left the watch discharged for 3-4 days, I put it on charge, it heats up and after a while it stops charging (instead of the magsafe logo with a lightning bolt, the magsafe logo without it is displayed). I tried to connect it to a PC, it charged for 3 hours, but to no avail, I also bought a new cable, but it didn't help. I've recently been using the watch, so maybe I'm doing something wrong?
