Podcast episodes not updating on Mac and iPhone Apple Podcasts app

I subscribe to a daily podcast, but for the past week, it has not been updated in the Podcasts app. The Mac app hasn't been updated since July 8th. However, when I check the podcast website, I find that new episodes have been published. This is clearly an issue with the Mac and iPhone app. I subscribed and resubscribed, but no change.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
