Sync Crosswords in Apple News+ between devices

I have an M4 MacBook Air 15”, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and M1 iPad Pro 11” and can not seem to have completed crosswords in Apple News sync across devices. Is there a way to do this or is this an oversight?? I also subscribe to Apple One+ and have news toggled in my iCloud settings.
