Mac mini m4 restarting constantly

As i explain in the EtreCheck report, the restarting issue happens about 3-5 times a day in randomly time gaps and no usual action trigger it. I've had this computer for about 6 months and it has started restarting out of the blue about 2 months ago.

I'm a web developer and as written on the report i have some softwares installed.

I hope this reaches the right people and that i find the proper solution that might help others

What is Segurança Total...?

Uninstall, delete, banish Segurança Total from your Mac as per the developers directions.

Then Startup in Safe Mode followed by a normal Restart and test for a day or so.

Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support

After that is done, run and post a new EtreCheckPro report.

Docker and Discord are sometime associated with these types of issue

Add in Google Chrome ?

The overall effects of the combinations of these 3 applications could be just enough to cause these " restarting "

Some updates on the issue. I've removed Total Safety boot mode and replaced to Normal and booted on Safe Mode. The day i changed to safe mode i did not experience any sudden restart and used chrome, discord, spotify, xcode, dbeaver, postgresApp, cursor and some others, I used it as an usual day. But right the next day (did not shut down) i got a sudden crash and it was on a random moment while i was working.

About discord and chrome, I stoped using discord app today to check the issue and it also restarted, chrome thought i have not replaced by another navigator and will do so after im done with this post. What bothers me is that I have an M4 16gb 512gb machine so that i can handle reasonable to light coding workflow and still cannot have multiple apps open. I had a M1 macbook air and the 8gb ram was an issue, so i changed to this one.

Im attaching two reports and a crash report, one done on safe mode and another that i've just done. Im thankful for you that have replied and im looking forward for your future replies.

Yeah, im going to carefully list some app that i use that might be causing the issue and try not using it or replacing. The thing is, i've had a m1 using the same apps that i use here on my m4 and have never had these restarting issues.

There's a possibility that im using another app that i had not used before i got this mac mini, but im almost sure that this is not the case, also I use brew to install some packages, that might be helpful to know.

I could not access your link, I do not have access "AI Mode is not currently available on your device or account". Here's the after unnistall chrome and wireguard as per the developers instructions and safe mode boot followed by normal boot

Most likely you have a hardware issue with the Logic Board. The original EtreCheck report doesn't have Homebrew, yet it still had the graphics related Kernel Panics. Unfortunately Apple low level agents and Apple repair techs don't know anything about how to read a Kernel Panic report. You have two options to get Apple's attention to have the Logic Board replaced (most likely it will be a bad Logic Board).

  1. Perform a clean install by erasing the disk followed by reinstalling macOS, or better yet perform a DFU Firmware Restore. Do not install any third party apps and do not restore/migrate from a backup. Unfortunately a DFU Firmware Restore requires access to another Mac currently running macOS 15.x Sequoia. If the Kernel Panic occurs under these strict conditions, then Apple has no choice but to start replacing the hardware....most likely starting with the Logic Board.
  2. Contact Apple support & go through all their low level troubleshooting steps which will involve step #1. Once the low level support runs out of things to try, then you can have them escalate your case to higher level support engineers who actually understand how to read a Kernel Panic report.

FYI, Apple Diagnostics, even the service level diagnostics rarely report any errors even when a hardware issue exists. Diagnostics are only useful when they actually report a problem. Unfortunately Apple techs only have this very limited resources to diagnose hardware issues. That is why step#1 above is the most important & critical to proving a hardware issue of some sort.

I also recommend disconnecting all external devices just in case one of them is causing a problem.

The Apple Support Community Forums are sometimes visited by AI / LMM / ChatBots.

AI / LLM are basically a Super Version of Predictive Text which is based upon a Data Set.

When that Data Set is based upon older data points, the outcome of the response will be equally out dated and / or unreliable

AI is also the newest form for Data Mining by Large Corporations.

Suggest being very careful about this.

Some suggestions can be incorrect, misinformed , incomplete, impossible to do, out right wrong

Hello again, everyone. I have some updates.

Since I use two monitors, and the newer one (DELL P245H) is connected to a Ugreen dongle via HDMI, I tried disconnecting it from the device and connecting it directly to the Mac Mini's HDMI port, which did not work — it restarted while in use.

After that, I tried another HDMI cable with no success. Then I removed this monitor completely and connected only the old one (DELL P2219H). I finally could use my computer as it was meant to be used — no restarts.

I'm now searching for other cables to connect it, and would appreciate it if any of you might have recommendations.

Attached are some images of the configuration I use on both monitors.
