Artificial intelligence is an intentionally-misnamed construct, and intentionally massively hyped.
Artificial Intelligence uses statistics to guess at the next word based on the current words being generated, based on immense text corpora. Same for AI generating images and video, based on immense corpora of existing images and video.
Artificial Intelligence is neither intelligence, nor is it a reference source.
If you want to text for social media engagement or for social media outrage, tailored images for illustrations or websites, fodder for a chat tool, or need text and video for scamming or propaganda, Artificial Intelligence can be very useful. It’s both good and bad providing at text autocorrect, too.
It is not, however, intelligence.
