Using iPhone 15 pro with iOS 18.5 in my new 2026 Honda CR-V
(Wireless) CarPlay will begin to read a message and then fade out after a few words. Anyone having that problem?
My other iPhone (7 IOS 15.7) works fine wirelessly in the same car.

Just thought I would share my daughter just bought a 26 CRV hybrid and had the same issue both with a phone on iOS 18.5 and 26.2. Told her to factory reset the head unit and now it’s working correctly. Not sure if this will help others.
same thing with 2026 CR-V TrailSport Hybrid and a wireless iPhone 16 plus IOS 18.6.2
I have a 13 pro and it does the same thing with my 2026 CR-V.
Same on a brand new CRV Sport L hybrid
I just purchased a Honda CRV- 2026. The dealership told me my only option was to switch to Android. I prefer not to do that
Thanks for this comment/tip! With this recommendation I bought one off amazon and works perfectly. Yes it’s crazy stupid that we have to do this but worth the $40 until Honda

May I ask how you connect your adapter and bypass the vehicle's Car Play? I tried to connect via Bluetooth but couldn't get it to work.
Mine worked fina for a month and now I can’t hear the sound from music or calls at all. Need a fix quickly!

i Have the same issue in my ford F150 with a pioneer aftermarket infotainment system. Worked with apple and pioneer with no resolution
This adapter allows me to text using SIRI. I still have problems with the infotainment screen freezing or just not working as advertised and annoying the heck out of me!
