Duplicate Contact in Contacts App

Hello,

I am on the latest macOS version with a newly installed Mac Mini and after setting everything up in the Contacts App there is a duplicate record of me (see screenshot). This happened also on my prior Mac Mini. My iPhone does not have this contact record. Another strange thing is that in the app when I select my actual contact record with my contact details, after a few seconds it automatically jumps to this blank contact record, making it difficult to copy/paste/edit content in my real contact record.

Can I safely delete it? Will it return? Is there a way to fix this permanently - maybe a setting in the app?

Many thanks for any help!
