Missing edit option on the Photos app on iPhone 11
My edit option is missing when selecting the 3 dots. I can no longer crop my photos. Not sure what IPhone did.

I don't remember Edit ever being accessed with the "More" (•••) menu, but that's not where Edit is located, now. Follow Phil0124's directions to find the edit options.
Some pictures, for instance some that were transferred to the phone or which come from messages, emails, or web sites, may not be available for editing and cropping. For those pictures, you can use Share
to "Save to Files." Then you can go to the Files app and use Share to get "Save" the picture back to Photos, and then the new version will be editable.
Does that work for you?
Make sure it's actually selected.
It should appear darker and have a very small orange triangle on top it to signify its selected.
It doesn’t work. Once I couldn’t find edit, I then just clicked on crop and those frame lines did not appear to shape my photo smaller.
I’ve used crop several times and for years. It no longer darkens like it’s supposed to when I click of crop. Plus there no longer is an edit option under the 3 dots.
I messed around with phone setting and reinstalled the phone app and it’s working on my photo.
