iPad running iOS 17. AppleTV app with multiple downloaded episodes of shows will not auto play after the initially started episode concludes. I have to manually start the next one. I have verified the Auto-Play Video Previews accessibility setting is enabled. As well as the auto-play setting within the TV app.
The ᴀᴜᴛᴏ-ᴘʟᴀʏ Play Next Episode option in the TV app account settings should govern this behavior.
If that is set to On (slider), and it still doesn’t work, then please contact Apple Support. As my iPad is on iPadOS 18.5, I can’t really check if that was different on iPadOS 17, but I don’t think so.
Are these episodes from an Apple TV+ show? Apple TV app Channel? Third party app? Store purchase? Synced content from other non-DRM’ed sources?

I updated to the latest iOS and the issue is still present. The episodes in question are all purchased through the iTunes Store. This is not a problem on an older iPad that does not utilize the AppleTV app.
Same for me; on appleTVs and IPhone.

incredibly frustrating. Will randomly play the next episode and then will stop after each, which wakes me up to start the next one...
Although all related software is updated, Apple TV on iPhone (iOS 18.6.2) and Apple TV app on smart tv does not auto play television shows. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the apps and the problem persists. Note: settings are set with auto play slider in the on position.
