Replace a 3rd-party screen on an iPhone 13 Pro with Apple once back in the U.S.

If you have the time to spare, I suppose it could not hurt to take the phone in, but I would be amazed if the shop does anything more than look at the phone.

You can certainly ask if Apple would be willing to install an authentic screen, but don't be surprised if they refuse your request.

There would be no benefit to a 3rd party screen bought in the US. Most 3rd party screens all come from outside the US anyway. I agree with Bob that if BestBuy turns you down and the screen you have is working acceptably, just leave it on your phone.

Sorry, but an authorized Apple shop won't touch the phone.

Screens are manufactured in China and a few other Southeastern Asia countries, so the "American" screen would likely be the same as the "European" screen.

If the screen that you have now is working, I would leave well enough alone unless you can get a genuine Apple screen installed.
