DMG Password not displayed in Password App

Hi Everyone,

I am faced with a small problem: I have a password-protected APFS DMG that I created as extra safety barrier to store important data.

While inputting the password, today I accidentally toggled "store password" or something like that. I assumed that was no big deal, because all password should be stored in the Password App, and I thought I could just go there and remove it.

However, it looks like the password is not in the Password App. I can´t find it with the search looking for "name_of_disk" or "name_of_disk.dmg", and the last modified items are from days ago. I restarted the mac, but still nothing.

I am allowed to access the disk without the password now - which makes it useless - and I don´t understand where the automatically-inputted password is coming from. I am not aware of other places in the Mac where passwords are stored.

I know I could just create a new DMG, move the data e delete the old one, but you know, I would like to understand what´s going on :)

Thank you for your help!
