Unable to add cards to Apple Pay after switching countries

I am unable to add cards to my applepay after already having changed my country to a compatible one and having added a card already. I initially was using Ghana . I successfully switched to the UK ,added a card which I was using . Only subsequently anytime I have tried to add another card it tells me my country settings aren’t compatible . The App Store is still set to UK. I use an iPhone 14 and it’s currently updated. How do I resolve this?

Thank you for the additional information. Apple does not approve or decline adding a card to your Wallet app. Your iPhone sends encrypted information about your iPhone and the information you entered when attempting to add your card, to the Payment Network Operator (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) and if they approve, it’s sent to the issuing bank for final approval. Information you’ve entered on your iPhone, not entered or entered incorrectly could look like fraud to the PNO or your bank. If the algorithms used by bank or PNO detects suspected fraud, your request is rejected and an appropriate error notification is displayed in the Apple Wallet app.

Apple only fulfills a reporting role. They do not play an active part in declining your cards. The fact one card is in your Wallet demonstrates that Apple’s part is working and data is being submitted by your iPhone and Apple’s servers.

Some banks are very sensitive to region/country changes. Are you using a VPN? This is a known issue for many banks.

What model device are you using? What iOS version is the device using? What country are you in? What country is the bank in that issued the card? Is the device issued to you by a corporate entity, or in other words, is it managed by a corporate IT team?

My country is set to the UK. All the cards I am attempting to add are from UK banks. I have already added one Revolut bank card before which worked. I am currently trying to add another Revolut card but this time around is not working. I use an iPhone 14 ios 18.5. My problem is the pop up message that comes when I try to add. It says it’s not successful because of the country, which is wrong because I have been able to do it before in said country(UK), in which I still reside and to which I have those settings maintained. Never changed.
