iCloud for MacBook with free iCloud but having existing iMac and paying for iCloud

I just purchase a new MacBook Pro with 3 years service, that included iCloud. However, I have an existing iMac that I am keeping which i am paying for iCloud.

How do I not loose existing iCloud stuff if I turn off the subscription when I add my new MacBook.

Where did you purchase the new MacBook Pro with 3 years free iCloud? I'm not aware of any offer from Apple like that. If it was from Apple it would link to your Apple ID and you wouldn't need to turn an existing subscription off.
