Copy or move songs from iPad to older Macbook

My friend has an iPad Air 2 (running iPad OS 15) and he recently got an older Macbook Pro, (Running the most up-to-date MacOS Monterey. He also has a Windows PC that has a lot of songs (11,000+) on iTunes. However, since we upgraded the Windows PC, there have been many albums not playable, but that is a different subject. Anyways, on the iPad it has songs that do not show on the iTunes app (or Music app on the Macbook. We want to try syncing the Mac library with the iPad library, but do not want to lose any songs, as some of them are from CDs or other forms of music that were broken by others. WE have tried both the iMazing and Mac FoneTrans apps, but both of them are unable to transfer the music as apparently the iPad has no local files even though the music is downloaded onto the iPad as it can be played anywhere. I have tried searching everywhere for a solution but haven't had any luck.

For the record, we have tried turning off "Cloud Syncing" on the mac, but that did not help either. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
