How do my emails keep getting sent to trash instead of inbox? How can I fix it?

It is hard to trouble-shoot, without seeing your Mail settings, or having more info. to go on.

There are a few suggestiions below that may help.

You could check whether your iOS version up-to-date in Settings > General > Software updates.

(Important: It is always wise to back up iPhone first, if you choose to update the iOS)

The Mail app generally does with emails whatever the chosen settings are set to, ie: telling it to do.

We don't know whether you have accidentally changed a setting somewhere.

Are the emails going to trash before, or after you have read them ?

They will generally only go to trash when deleted, unless there are particular settings in place.

Does Mail think your emails are junk mail ? They will generally have a message on them, if so.

Do settings tell Mail to send junk mail to trash, or leave in inbox?

or

You might need to log in to your account on your email provider's (Gmail / Yahoo etc) website.

You can check the settings you have in place with your provider(s) there.

We can't guess what you have already tried without finding success.

If we find what's causing the problem, the solution will likely be evident.

Example: Is there a filter set to send Mail to trash ? If so the solution is to turn it off.
