MacBook Air stuck on a black screen

My laptop worked one day but then a week later i went to use it and it wouldnt turn on. Won’t charge. The dead battery sign doesn’t even come on the screen. I got a new charger to see if that would solve it and it still won’t work. It’s just a black screen.

Hi,

A MacBook Air stuck on a black screen could indicate a few issues, but it's often resolvable without needing professional help. First, try restarting the computer by holding down the power button until it shuts off, then turning it back on. If that doesn't work, consider resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) or the Non-Volatile RAM (NVRAM)/Parameter RAM (PRAM) if your MacBook Air has Intel processor. If the problem persists, booting into Safe Mode or trying an external display can help isolate the issue.
