MacBook disconnects from NAS SMB share despite sleep set to 0

I have a NAS server setup with SMB, MacBook connects fine and funktions for a while, then disconnects the connection and drops the share.

Example: Yesterday I was copying a folder with files, 200GB ish in alle, it started copying fine and I left it to it, when I came back the connection was lost and copy failed. I have set sleep to 0. via Termnial.

What am I missing?

Is Energy Saver set to put drives to sleep? This can cause problems.

Is there a place where you can set the energy saver settings of the NAS in the NAS configuration page?

Did you check if the NAS has its own firmware update?

Energy settings on the NAS I haven't changed and I have no issues on Linux or Windows machines.

NAS is set to manual update only, so no unplanned updates.
