Turn off sharing to messages from Safari

Hello,

I would like to individually remove a contact from appearing in the sharing list when selecting a Safari link, or to turn off the sharing option altogether if that is the only way to do so.

I have attempted to 'unselect messages' from Safari sharing by editing the settings, but the button cannot be unselected. Turning off Siri has not been effective, and Siri+Intelligence does not display any sharing options. Unselecting ‘Siri suggestions’ under Spotlight has also not been successful. I am running MacOs 15.5. Thank you!

Sorry for the confusion. I would like to turn off the message share option circled in red for this contact, or turn off sharing for all contact. Edit extension option doesn't allow turning Messages. I thought that I attaching the 2nd image was sufficient.

That’s unfortunate as the option to toggle ‘show when sharing’ between Safari and iMessage exists in iOS under Siri suggestions option as shown in the images below when it’s turned off. . I hope that Apple addresses this issue in the future. Thanks

This " Share for Messages " from within Safari, appears Hardwired making it not possible to turn it Off

Not sure what you want to do. Do you want to turn off Notifications from Safari or messages from a website that pop up in the upper right hand corner of the screen?

If it's the latter go into Safari's Website settings pane and do the following:

If you want to remove all notifications from Safari go to the System ➙ Notifications ➙ Safari settings pane and click on None and turn all switches to Off:
