iPhone gets stuck while in Assistive Access mode
So, I am working on a solution for an elderly who is starting to experience difficulties navigating the iPhone. I enabled Assistive Access mode and added to need-to-have applications and left the phone with the user.
However, the user managed to get the phone stuck/frozen within the first couple of days.
I found it a bit weird as the assistive access mode is supposed to be "foolproof", so I setup a spare phone for the user in order to troubleshoot the users phone. In the process I tested if I could replicate the issue on the spare phone.
It turns out if you enter the assistive access mode on the phone and enter the phone code incorrectly 4 times when unlocking the phone (instead of using Face ID), you get the "Device Unavailable - Try again in 1 minute" message and expected.
However when 1 minute has passed and it says "Device Unavailable - Try again in 0 minutes", the phone does not give you the option to unlock the phone and the only option is to restart by pressing vol+ then vol- then press and hold lock button.
I feel like this might be a bug, since you can't expect users of the assistive access mode to always be able to enter the passcode correctly.
Are anyone else experiencing the same?
