Export transactions lists (only) for multiple Apple Card statements

I need to collect and sort the transactions from 18 months worth of statements. My original plan was to do the following.

  1. Download the statements
  2. Combine the PDFs into one PDF
  3. Copy all of the transactions into a spreadsheet (Numbers)
  4. Filter, sort, and total the transactions.

Before starting step 3, I realized that I'll have to manually copy each statement's transaction list if I do it this way. I can certainly do that, but I think I might rather scrub my kitchen floor with a toothbrush.

Please recommend a solution to get all these transactions into a single spreadsheet or other software that can filter, sort and total before I blow out my other knee on the kitchen floor.

My preference is to do this directly on my MBP, but I'm open to iPhone solutions that I can export as needed.

Ugh. How in the kitchen floor toothbrush grout cleaner did I miss that? Thank you.

That still has to be done statement by statement from the looks of it, right? Your way and combining the .csv files is good and will save me some time.

Being able to see a list defined by the time frame I want rather than what Apple/Goldman/etc want would be a lot more "Apple-y" and modern considering that all of my other cards have tools that allow for this within their websites and apps.

*This annoyance is par for the course as lately I seem to encounter more and more Apple ecosystem issues (not just Apple Card) that really defy the user friendly processes and the "it just works" philosophy of old.

At this point I'm sure Apple and others would say "well if you'd just keep up with your business and download the transactions each month you wouldn't have this problem." But part of why I use the products is because of the formerly prevalent attitude towards ease of use and personalization. The current attitude is the antithesis of that. It's still better than switching to other platforms, but definitely disappointing.
