iphone 16 plus- photos grainy after taking picture?

when i take photos, they are clear on camera, but when i go back in my photo library to look, they’re all of the sudden grainy. is this a photos setting, or because it’s auto-adjusting? if so, how do i turn that off? i’m tired of having to edit the grain out of every. single. photo.
